Body Tape

Fashion these days has gone bold and flamboyant. And everybody follows the fashion trends quite religiously these days. However, when you do that you need to be careful as to not become a fashion disaster. With your necklines going deeper than they should, it can allow a peek-a-boo.

You might be wearing a nice off-shoulder gown but during the entire function all you would do is worry about pulling it up. But you can avoid all this by using body tape. Body tape is a must have as it is used extensively in the fashion world.

Body tapes are extremely useful when you are wearing plunging neckline tops, bikinis or an off-shoulder dress, they help you keep your piece of cloth at the place it should be.

You can easily find body tapes at various accessory shops or even in a lingerie store. While using body tape, try your dress before applying it. Wear your dress and mark the points where you think you would require fixing the body tape.

Also try wearing the dress for a couple of hours; as it happens that when you put on a dress, it initially is quiet tight but after sometime, the cloth follows the contours of body and loosens a bit. Also watch the flow of the dress as when you sit and walk around a bit, you will have a better idea of the areas where it is necessary to put the body tape.

After you have a fair idea and have marked all the points, take off your dress and invert it. Fix the tape by removing the cover of the tape from one side and fix it to your dress on all the marked places.  Then put on your dress. After pulling in down properly and after you are all ready, remove the cover from the other side of the tape so that it sticks on to your skin; press tight to stick it properly.

In order to assure a better stick, cut the tape in bigger pieces, especially at curvy places as small pieces of tape would loose their adhesive and loosen up easily.
