Your hair, your crowning glory is a precious thing and girls always want them proper. Yet there are times that you don’t like yourself while looking in the mirror and that happens when you get a bad haircut. And how and when do you get a bad haircut. Well it happens when you fail to understand your face and that what will go well with your face shape.

It would be the first, second or third time that this would have happened, and not before only because you were lucky to have a good hair dresser. It is very important that you converse for some time with the hair dresser as to what you want to look like and listen patiently to the suggestions of the hair dresser, because he or she would know better that you.

Also you should be aware of the shape of your own face so that you can be sure that the cut that the hair dresser is suggesting would suit you well or not.

A square face would carry a cut that softens the lines of the face. So a medium length cut with front bangs or flicks as it will not accentuate the square forehead, instead it will make you face a bit rounded and offsets the square lines.

If you have a round face, you should avoid flat and pulled back hairstyles, instead you should have short flared haircut. Or even a puffed front would look good as it gives your face a different dimension than the curved and rounded look.

If you have a heart shaped face, you can experiment quite a lot with your hair as most of the cuts suit such a shape of the face. Also you can carry long and short, all types of lengths of hair.

If you have an oval face, long straight hair is most suitable for you. If you have the length then you go in for razor cut. However if you don’t have the length enough then it is on an oval face that can carry a ponytail in the best way. An oval face can look good with a centre parting, side parting or no parting at all, all look good on an oval face.

So next time you go for a haircut you would not be an ignorant customer.
