Before applying makeup the face has to be deeply cleansed to get rid of all dirt and impurities. After that an astringent can be applied on the face to remove any extra traces of oil and make the skin refreshing.

When it comes to foundation, only water based products should be chosen as they are light and will not make the face oily. A non comedogenic concealer has to be applied before applying foundation to hide any blemish or imperfection. Loose powder has to be used to set the makeup and it will also help to control shine and oiliness and make the face look fresh.
