Henna is a natural conditioner. It is available in the form of fine khaki-green powder at most supermarkets. This powder is made from dried leaves of Lawsonia inermis plant that generally grows in dry regions. To make henna hair pack, boil three cups of water. Add two teaspoons of tea or coffee to the boiling water. Switch off the gas and let the water cool.

Use a strainer to remove the tea or ground coffee. Slowly add this water to about 100 gm of henna powder to form a thick paste. Keep this paste overnight and apply the next day. Cover your hands with gloves otherwise the henna will also stain your fingers with its magnificent orange color.

You can make several variations of this hair pack. Instead of using tea or coffee water, you can make the henna paste using plain yogurt. Addition of yogurt will not only condition your hair more effectively, but due to the sour nature of yogurt, this pack will also help you to tackle dandruff problem.

Another variation of the henna hair pack is to use eggs. Beat two eggs well and make the henna paste using this. Addition of eggs will add shine and softness to your hair. Eggs, however, impart a bad smell to the bathroom which takes a long time go.

Apart from natural products like henna, yogurt and eggs, you can also use beer to make your hair more attractive. After washing your hair with a mild shampoo, you can rinse your hair with flat beer. This will give your hair extra bounce. Flat beer means beer kept in an open can or glass for a long time so that all its fizz is lost.
